Ernie Diggs, of Paris, Tennessee was elected to the board of AgriBank, in 2012 to serve a four year term. He has served on the Farm Credit Mid-America Association board based in Louisville, KY. He has served on numerous boards including the Henry Farmers Coop, the Henry County Farm Bureau, the Henry County Fair board, the Henry County FSA committee, the Tennessee Tractor Pullers Association, the National Tractor Pullers full board of directors, the Farm Credit Advisory Committee, and also has served as a deacon and then as an elder in his church. Also is a member of the American Soybean Association and the National Corn Growers of which he has placed 1st in the state corn yield contest at least 8 times. Ernie attended the University of Tennessee at Martin in the agriculture program and also the local Vo-Tech school. Ernie and his wife Janis, have four children and nine grandchildren. One son, Clint and his wife, farm with Ernie and Janis on the family farm.
